SMTP HotFix for Domino 8.5.2 is Released

If you working with 8.5.2, today is the scheduled release date for SPR #LMIL88Q62X, which affects SMTP. According to a current technote on the problem, the HotFix will be placed in IBM's Fix Central, today. Apparently, a last minute tweak to 8.5.2 did not undergo full regression testing, and the SMTP error was introduced. The HotFix actually made it in for public distribution yesterday.

If you can, please help me with it.
I downloaded it, and on my win7 machine,
the exe starts, and complains that it does not find the notes in the registry.
I copied it on a pendrive to the notes server (win 2003 std 32)
On the contrary, on the server all i get is a little window with a big red error icon and an ok button. I found no setup guide on the hotfix central webpage, and i don't know how to install the hotfix.
Should I stop the domino server while running the hotfix?
