ECIS Explore 2006 Conference in Toronto

Category IBM/Lotus
I will not posting as frequently this week, as I'm in Toronto attending an ECIS Explore 2006 conference. ECIS stands for Education Center for IBM Software (so, “ECIS” is one of those 2nd level embedded acronyms of which Bob Balaban is fond).

IBM training partners from around the world will be attending, and I even get to make a presentation on Social Networking. For today and tomorrow, I'll be meeting with the ECIS Advisory Council (I'm a member), and then it's two days with some outstanding speakers on everything from Hannover (by Jon Dodge) to Workplace solutions (by Ken Rokicki).

What's so interesting about being involved in the ECIS channel, is that I get to see the unfolding of several early technologies as they make their first foray into organizations.
