T-Mobile Has Free WiFi
Category Diversions
If you have T-Mobile service (I do), you probably have seen signs for T-Mobile WiFi at Starbucks, FedEx, Borders and other businesses which host a T-Mobile WiFi hotspot. Because it's an extra charge, I've never bothered to use it (there is enough free WiFi in the Washington, DC area).
To revitalize its market share, T-Mobile is extending free weekend WiFi to all of its customers. If you use T-Mobile, then look at all the locations listed. I'll be checking it out, but then as an ubergeek, I have a PDA capable of 802.11b. I'm not sure everyone else will be lugging out their laptops for weekend warrior work at The Holiday Inn.
